The strapping tom emerged into the damp forest, his gaze sweeping across the area for prey. He spotted a mouse scurrying along a tree, and he quickly dropped into a perfect hunters crouch, his haunches rocking back and forth and his tail straight up, his belly just about touching the ground. He then lunged into the air, and soared down at the mouse, his claw slamming into it's neck, killing it instantly, and painlessly. After that, he had done the same to two birds, one rabbit and one vole. He clamped all of the prey in his jaws tightly and it hung limply. He then smothered the area with his musky scent, and began to carry his mouse back to Camp.
